“If Drinking Don't Kill Me” by George Jones. The legend himself!

In March of 1999 George was involved in a accident on a utility vehicle that nearly killed him. He admitted to being intoxicated while operating the vehicle. George used this eye opening moment as a wake up call and decided to change his way.

In his final years George Jones did much to redeem his name and put in some of the best performances of his life. George passed away due to a respiratory infection on April 26, 2013. He was truly a country legend, despite his flaws. Even today he is missed and the industry feels his absence.
