This is exciting since the crowd will be bigger and the ticket sales will help support various programs in the area.
Osceola Heritage Park/SMG General Manager Robb Larson made the announcement Monday.
“Runaway Country has grown into a destination event for fans from all over the world. We have been looking to bring a popular, established music festival like this to Osceola Heritage Park and are thrilled to have landed this.
“The new festival site at OHP is just a short drive from our previous location,” Runaway Country founder and Executive Producer Gary McCann said. “Music fans, vendors and sponsors will enjoy a larger concert bowl, air conditioned restrooms, shaded food courts, new facilities to host the Outer Limits and My Apartment party zones, more campsites, easy access parking and more activities throughout the weekend.”
The festival, which had been held in Melbourne the past five years, has out grown its facility and was looking to expand, according to executives of the worldwide venue management company.
Officials said they hope Heritage Park will be the perfect venue for the country music event, which includes nonstop music, shopping, dining, back stage meet-and-greets, contests and more.
