  • Seven Of The Top Country Music Songs Of 2015 You Need To Listen To

    1. Girl Crush- Little Big Town.  This song is about a longing love for someone who you can't have at the moment.  They're already seeing someone else.  But love is love, which is why it made this Top 7 list.  A haunting, yet beautiful song relating to a feeling that, from what I believe, most people have been familiar to at one point in their lives.

    2. Take Your Time- Sam Hunt.  Since Sam Hunt's newest album release, his songs have been on fire!  The crowd of fans are eating it up.  “Take Your Time,” is a great song that's currently number 3 on the Country charts– right after “Girl Crush.”  It has a little bit of a rhythm and blues influence about love at first sight.  He is willing to be patient.  The verses are half talking, half singing, in order to persuade a potential love interest to be with him. However, there's no rush if she needs the time to think it over.  As long as it gets the result he's waiting for.

    3. For A Boy- Raelynn.  This song is about how far a girl would go to make the boy of her dreams happy.  And it reciprocates, assuming the boy feels the same way for her.  She lets the boy know it's okay and encourages him to show her how he really feels about her.  She's saying she feels excited that he's so open and trusting with her.  It's an upbeat, fun tune to listen to when you're in love.

    4. Homegrown- Zac Brown Band.  The band is singing about how there's no reason to leave because everything  a man needs (his girlfriend) in his small town.  It's a cute easy listening track that just puts you in a playfully good mood.  Another song that gives you the feels would be Zac Brown Band's other hit song: “Loving You Easy.”

    5. Nothin' Like You- Dan + Shay.  A tune where a man sings about all the little things he appreciates and adores about that special someone.  Be it physical or personality traits, it's in the song.  This one is more fast paced, where you can take your significant other onto the dance floor and have, “just the right kind of crazy.”

    6. Everything Has Changed- Taylor Swift (ft. Ed Sheeran).  You can hear the influence of Ed Sheeran in this song, but it still has that good old Country sound.  They sing about new love how they just want to know all about the other person.  It's not the newest of songs, but I still love listening to it every time I hear it.  The strumming on the guitar just puts you into a relaxed and content mood.

    7. Love You Like That- Canaan Smith.  Smith sings about what he is willing to do for a certain someone, and poetically illustrates how he wants to love them with vivid analogies.  You can really hear the passion in his voice.  It's a slower, sweet love song for those in love.

It's great when you find yourself in a place where you have found your soul mate.  It's possible that music can make your bond with someone that much stronger.

What did you think of our top 7 list?  Give them a listen, and see if you feel even more enamored about your special someone.  Do the above records express how you see your relationship?
