In a lot of ways, Country music was built on the idea of love. Whether it's the hopeful serenade of a lifetime with your soulmate, or down beat ballad of a love that's been lost.
Perhaps one could surmise that it really comes down to the fact that country music tends to center around true, real, tangible emotion. However, I suppose in the long run us fans are really the lucky ones. What other genre of music is so direct and can speak to the deepest part of each one of our souls?
In pondering this interesting connection between country music and love songs I started looking around to see if my hunch was correct, (that almost every country song is really a love song).
