To me, Country and Rap mesh like pickups and champagne.

Would you be surprised to know that in 1991, Tammy Wynette and a dance-rap band from the U.K., The KLF, teamed up for a track?  If that's not mind-boggling enough, in 2004, Rap icon, Nelly, invited legendary Tim McGraw to provide vocals for his song, “Over and Over.”

Brantley Gilbert is trying his own hand at collaboration… This may or may not break his career.

Gilbert however didn’t intend for the move to be controversial, or any sort of “hey, look at me!” intention.

Gilbert, who is a huge fan of T.I., was excited to get the chance to work with him and do something a little bit different.
