
June 5-7 was one of the best weekends for Country Music Fans. Myrtle Beach was the scene for the first-ever Carolina Country Music Fest, including names like Eric Church, Hunter Hayes and Colt Ford.
More than 19,000 people, including Myrtle Beach Mayor, John Rhodes who came to take it all in. Festival organizer, Bob Durkin, is already planning for next year's Fest.
For many country music fans, this was their first time in Myrtle Beach. Fireworks and even a zip line was part part of the entertainment and fans ate it up during the 4-day event.
The Carolina Country Music Fest proved that country music fans are willing to shell out big bucks to hear their favorite artists play – 3-day General Admission where going for $189 and “Super VIP” ran a cool $999.
This is no small feat, however. Months of planning go into pulling off a Music Fest like this, not to mention the sheer number of people needed on-hand, working hard behind-the-scenes.
