  • The Perfect Songs To Play At Your Wedding For A Memorable Occasion

Starting off with my top three, in descending order, here are the best songs to dance to at your wedding.

    3.  Like Jesus Does, written by Eric Church: the voice of an angel, singing such a beautiful song to one's mother.  This is a Country man's sweet ode to the most important woman that's been in their life since the day he was born.  No matter what trouble he gets into, the love of his mother has always shined through to bring him into better days.

    2.  My Wish, written by Rascal Flatts.  This Country song is all about the life advice, all the hopes and dreams, filled with love, from the wisdom of a parent.  You might as well have your mother recite the words on your wedding day.  Or, to make it easier on her, just dance to this song and allow everyone witnessing this magical moment to imagine her voice behind the lyrics.  Signal the lights, and cue the tears!

    1.  Wind Beneath My Wings, written by Gary Morris.  Did you know that Gary Morris created this song and reached #4 on the Country charts six years before Bette Midler?   Well if you didn't, there's a little Country music history trivia you can tell your friends.  I see this as the number one special pick for a wedding song.

It comes down to the what feels right with you and your mother.  Which song encapsulates your relationship with her?  Which one will tell the story of you two?

Are these songs mentioned above in your top 3 choices for your Mother/Son dance?  If not, which songs would you boil it down to?  Please leave your comments below.
