One of the well-known couples and break-ups was Tanya Tucker and Glen Campbell.  Back in 1981, she was 22-years-old and he was 45.  She was devastated over the break-up, after being engaged and making it to their wedding day. They sang many duets together.  The lyrics in each of their solo careers gave you a great idea of how close they really were.

Taylor Swift is known for writing songs about her relationships.  One need only remember when she wrote a song about the demise of her relationship with John Mayer. The queen of the modern-day kiss-off song, Taylor Swift reportedly sang the following lyrics: “Don't you think I was too young to be messed with?  The girl in the dress, cried the whole way home.  I should've known” about John Mayer.

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are one of Country Music’s powerhouse couples who met in 2005 at the CMT’s 100 Greatest Duets Concert.  They dated for four years before marrying on May 14, 2011.  They have their separate careers and have also collaborated on Miranda Lambert’s song, “Over You” which was a song about losing Blake’s brother when Blake was 14-years-old.  The song was named CMA Song of the Year for 2012 and Single Record and Song of the Year at the 2013 Academy of Country Music awards.

Kellie Pickler is known for being a contestant on American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. Country music songwriter and singer, Kyle Jacobs and Kellie were engaged, after two and a half years of dating, on June 15, 2010.  Pickler and her dance partner, Derek Hough, danced a rumba while Kellie’s husband Kyle Jacobs sang the song he wrote for their wedding.  

Tae of Maddie & Tae has been dating a fellow Country singer, Jackie Lee. Little is known about the relationship between Tae and Jackie Lee. Are they still dating?  Is their relationship getting serious?  Is there something more to come?  Oh the suspense!

Tae’s real name is Taylor Dye.  She is involved in a Country music duo with Maddie, full name: Madison Marlow.  They are very close friends whom started singing together after high school, then moved to Nashville, Tennessee to start their Country music career.
