“I wouldn’t know how to relax,” Parton remarked. “I’m just not the kind … I love what I do, and I just find that peace inside myself to where I can just rest … I don’t really intend to retire, unless I got sick or my husband got sick and I needed to care for him. I would like to just work until I fall over dead in 20, 30, 40, 50 years.”
If I were to fathom a guess, I would say “I Will Always Love You” is the perfect tribute to Dolly's fans. She didn't get to the top and stay there without the love and support of her fans! Talk about a humble individual who works just as hard today as she did in the early years of her career. What a inspiration! Nothing in life comes without a dream and whole lot of commitment!
If you listen to music at all, you know her voice and her famous looks. What do you think about her stance on retirement?
