  • Swift’s Never Been One To Shy Away From The Limelight, But Are Her Antics Catching Up With Her?

The report from Looper pointed to everything from Swift's feuds to other female artists to her penchant for courting media attention through her charitable efforts. One trend that's gotten a lot of attention is her tendency to expose her private love affairs in her songs.

Though she insists in interviews that she doesn’t like to talk about her personal life, Swift capitalizes on the speculation from it. Singer Joe Jonas inspired Swift’s “Forever and Always,” “Better Than Revenge,” and “You’re Not Sorry” after he broke up with her in an infamous 27-second-long phone call. Jake Gyllenhaal was the man behind most of Red, including “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” Harry Styles is rumored to be behind “I Knew You Were Trouble” and most of 1989, especially “Style” and “Out of the Woods.” Though Swift never officially confirms or denies anyone’s suspicions, she leaves hints in her liner notes for fans to piece together, and those hints are usually obvious.

Interestingly, when John Mayer called her out for “Dear John,” she had the nerve to tell Glamour that he was being “presumptuous” about the song’s obvious inspiration. Seriously?

Wow! This report certainly presents a different image of Taylor Swift than we're all accustomed to. However, in the entertainment world it's often difficult to separate fiction from reality, so it's important to take everything you read with a grain of salt. Still, these allegations are certainly intriguing!
