  • Blake Shelton Makes A Controversial Statement About His Fame & Fortune

There was backlash all the way from classic Country musicians to the sponsors that support them. Fortunately for Blake, there were supporters who stepped forward within the industry to defend his intentions about what he was trying to say.

    2. I honestly don’t know what to believe. that does sound a little like him arrogance does not suit him at all

    3. Dee Jakway says:

hard to believe he would say that seeing as he is always talking about how there is no Cl$#%&!@*ic country singer’s anymore and that it is missing on radios and in nashville

    4. Blake that just doesn’t sound like something you would say! I know you love your fans young and old! Country music is called Country and it should stay Country! Don’t be so mean! You said Country Music was your first love and you need to stay Country!! You have hurt a lot of people’s feelings, shame on you!

    5. I.like old time country music.

    6. I like the old country better then new bubble gum country

    7. Blake has a right to speak his mind if you don’t care for what he says that’s ok. And it doesn’t make me like him any less. He’s human and he can have an opinion

    8. If I am “Male Vocalist of the Year” that must mean that I’m one of those people now that gets to decide if it moves forward and if it moves on. Country music has to evolve in order to survive. Nobody wants to listen to their grandpa’s music. And I don’t care how many of these old farts around Nashville going, “My God, that ain’t country!” Well that’s because you don’t buy records anymore, jack$#%&!@*. The kids do, and they don’t want to buy the music you were buying.

    9. I’m sure he didn’t mean to sound like that.

    10. I don’t like Blake Shelton!!! Or that stuff he calls music….

    11. Remember Blake u have a lot of older fans, like me I’m old enough to be your mom and I love you but that was kind of a slap in tge face!
