Oh, the tangled webs we weave…when a little bit of Johnny Walker is involved.

Dierks Bentley nails the trouble with drinking right on its head in this latest single. We all have those untold stories of having a little too much fun when out with friends then something reminds you of someone and you suddenly feel the need to speak to them at 3 in the morning. It doesn't matter that they're sleeping because in your mind, of course, they would love to hear from you!

So why did he choose this song as his next single? Well, he answered that question with ease at a recent press event.

“My fans are really patient on this record. We’ve taken a lot of twists and turns: “Somewhere on a Beach” was different. “Different for Girls” was different for me. And then “Black,” for that to go No. 1, it’s not the typical song that does that.  They’ve been really patient in allowing us to do stuff. So to come back with a song that’s a real down-the-middle, fun party song — it’s kind of a good summer song, and I’m excited about it.”
