So just as we promised here are the two videos showcasing Kris Jones. In the first one, he sings along to Tennessee Whiskey as his daughter smiles gleefully at the camera making faces and in the other the expresses his gratitude for his new found fan base and he belts out the classic Stand By Me.

It's sort of a known secret that anyone wanting to break into the music business or launch a music career can do so by choosing the right cover at the right time and uploading it to the internet. It's a great way to get people to find you through some already established songs. Now I am not sure if this was the intention of Kris Jones or if it's a situation where his daughter just likes her dad's voice and wanted to share it with the world but either way it worked as both videos have millions of views already.

Both songs are absolutely amazing in my book and I am a fan of both the original and the covers. There is no word yet from Chris Stapleton as to what he thinks of his song cover becoming the thing that propels someone into internet stardom but from what we know of Chris he probably couldn't be happier. After all, that is why musicians do what they do. To bring music and joy to others through their art form and this has done so on many levels.
