On December 2nd  Granger Smith  was performing a concert in Jersey when things went from amazing to downright painful in the blink of an eye.

While dancing around on stage for his fans he did what many artists have done and jumped up on a monitor when it gave way and he went tumbling into a metal barricade. He hopped back up immediately and after gathering himself and getting the band back on track he began singing again and went on with the show.

He was later hospitalized with 2 separated & broken ribs, a partially punctured and collapsed lung and probably more bruises than he can count. His spirits were up the next day however as he thanked his fans via Twitter for all of their well wishes.
