We are now looking at the end of Jan. As the stores start to push their Valentines Day decorations on us with Easter a close second I can officially say that I have found the first song that I am obsessed with for 2017!

It's no surprise that it's a country song although the viral video of the little girl singing You've Gotta Way With Me is a close second!

This song is funky, it's soulful and it has just the right twang on it to keep it sounding smooth as all get out! I watched it first on Ellen and then had to run and find out more about it as soon as they were done.

I will admit that it's good to see them doing so well. In 2015 they were headed for burnout. With tours, appearances, and albums they were burning the candle at both ends and it was starting to take its toll.

“I think we started noticing just a little bit of Lady Antebellum fatigue from radio and the listeners,” says singer Charles Kelley, who makes up the group with vocalist Hillary Scott and multi-instrumentalist Dave Haywood

It was around this time that message boards, Twitter, Facebook and the plethora of other social media outlets started to burn with the question of are they finished for good?

“There was not a lot of excitement for new singles,” agrees Haywood.

“It was kind of like, ‘Oh yeah, Lady Antebellum,'” says Kelley, rolling his eyes. “It didn't feel as anticipated as it was before, and I think that just naturally happens with any artist as you're going onto your fifth or sixth record. It was like, ‘Ok, we're ready for some new freshness.'”

If this first release is telling of their upcoming album due out in June then I would say they are only just getting started!
