Kane Brown may be a new star but we can't help by love him. We just can't wait to hear more of his songs. The fact that he was inspired by Lauren Alaina just makes his story even better. It might even make you like him even more!

What Kane Brown Has To Say About Being Inspired By Lauren Alaina Is: 

“I was in choir with Lauren Alaina, and I was always the shy kid in class, and she heard me humming a song one day and she was like, ‘No, you need to sing,’ and I said ‘I’m not singing,’ and she was like, ‘Well, we’re not leaving class until you sing.’ So, like everybody left class and me and her was just sitting in there and the teacher was like, ‘What’s going on?’ And she was like, ‘I want him to sing.’ And he was like, ‘Well, you need to sing I guess so y’all can leave.’ So, I ended up singing ‘I Can Only Imagine’ and she was just like, ‘See,’ and they made us do like a duet together.”

Once she went to “American Idol” and he saw her in a parade in town, he knew he wanted to do something like that.

This just might be the best and most heartwarming story of inspiration ever. It is just incredible that they were in the same choir class together. We are so glad that Lauren Alaina encouraged him. He was truly meant to be a star.
