  • Miranda Lambert Covers U2’s “Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” & it’s Amazing!

When this song first hit the air waves the year was 1987 and the album was Joshua Tree. Rock legends U2 had blessed the world with what would go on to become one of the most iconic albums of all time.

Fast forward 30 years later to the main stage at the end of yet another epic show and you have one of the biggest names in music closing out her set with the same exact song. Her sultry country vocals lending to the song a deeper feel and connection with her audience as they sing along to this time tested melody.

Like some U2 fans, Lambert attended one of the band’s concerts, on June 16 in Louisville, Ky., earlier this year. At the time, the country star tweeted about the “life-changing” event: “This changed my life. And my way of thinking. About music & art. About drive & heart. Thank you @U2. I’ll never be the same. #joshuatree.”

While Lambert is not currently on tour she is set to head out soon for shows in Europe promoting her 2016 double-disc offering The Weight of These Wings, which recently went platinum.
