  • The Story Behind The Music Here’s A Quarter Call Someone Who Cares

I love this song. It reminds me of being a kid and playing in my dad's warehouse while he finished up his paperwork for the day. We would have the warehouse doors open and all you could see were empty fields meant for running as the sun beat down on them. Occasionally you could hear the cars and trucks fly by but all I remember was the hot summer air and the songs that blasted through it.

This song was one of them.

I know it's a strange song to remind someone of their childhood but it does. While many people may look back and think of that one person they wanted to tell off, I look back and think of hot summers and spinning around in the sun.

Now that I'm a tad older I find it interesting to look back on those songs I remember so fondly and find out their true meaning. The meaning that the artist intended and this one was no different.

So what I have done is dug into the depths of the internet and compiled for you on the next page words straight from the horse's mouth as to the meaning and intent behind the words. So check it out and let us know what you think. Where does this song take you back to?
