Her Birth Was One Special Day!
The Eli Young Band just added another member…well, an unofficial member, anyway…following the birth of baby number two for bassist Jon Jones and his wife Sarah. Their daughter Lila Pascale Jones was born Nov. 30 in Fort Worth, Texas, following just 3 hours of active labor by mom Sarah. This little cutie really knows how to make an entrance!
Sarah opted for an at-home birth for both Lila and older brother Hudson, who'll celebrate his fourth birthday on New Year's Eve. The family chose a natural water birth at home, but even though Sarah wasn't in a hospital, she still had plenty of professionals on hand to help guide her through the birth. This included a birthing team and a midwife. Little Lila weighed in at 7 pounds and measured 19½ inches. She sounds like a healthy baby!
