When I first heard of the fires in Tennesse, my heart broke. I have been up in the Smokey Mountains, and it is by far one of the best places to visit. The beautiful landscape, the wildlife, and the people are what make the area so great. Hearing that it was now at risk and seeing the news footage of how devastating this fire was to that region left me with no words.
Then a ray of light started to shine. The pride in the community began to form and those who are in positions to help started coming forward and pledge to do all they can to help the beautiful people affected by those fires.
